Today's Daily Devotional for Women - You are BLESSED
Jeremiah 17:7-8 says "But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
When you place your trust in the Lord, when you have confidence in knowing God has a perfect plan and destiny for your life, the Bible says you are BLESED.
The Bible says you are REFRESHED right down to your very roots, that there is no fear of the unknown, that there is no lack of having exactly what you need to keep your leaves green in and out of season.
The Bible says you will always bear fruit and always have the tools you need to thrive, because His Spirit will always give you everything you need.
You are made for blessing, precious daughter of Christ. Especially in this time as you seek God's revelation and purpose for your life. And that gives you the right to experience blessings beyond your wildest imagination.
Psalms 128 1-2 says "Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to Him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours."
What's the downside to living your purpose for Christ? That life will be challenging? That things won't come easy? That you're afraid to fail? That you won't succeed?
Guess what, my darling sister? Those things can happen even if you DON'T pursue your purpose for Christ. Because this world is made to be hard. This world is made to have obstacles. That's what happened when sin entered the world way back in the Garden of Eden. What once came easily to us, we now have to work for.
So once you realize that, once you understand "on this earth, I'm going to have to go through trials and tribulations, but when I get to HEAVEN - that's when things will be easy…"
Suddenly it becomes easier to pursue the "impossible" vision God gave you, because you understand life is going to be hard anyway, so it might as well be hard while you ENJOY each step of the way!
Because that's what happens when you seek the Lord and walk in obedience to Him. You will eat the fruit of your labor! Blessings and prosperity are YOURS!
