Today’s Daily Devotional for Women

It’s tough to chase after your dreams. It’s tough to pursue a goal day after day and keep staying motivated to move forward.

It’s the same as with a boat.  If the river continues to provide water, then boat can continue moving forward. But if the water dries up, the boat is stuck in place.

Your dream is your boat, and your thoughts are the springs from which the river flows.  If you consciously monitor your thoughts and only dwell on those thoughts that give your boat enough water to keep flowing, then your river will flow.

But when you encounter negative thoughts that want to drain your river dry and stop the momentum moving forward, banish these thoughts. Cast them aside. Choose to consciously deny their truth and instead dwell on the passion you know is within you.

Guard your heart, guard your hearts. Even if you don’t see anything around you that looks like success, your thoughts of success are all you need to keep moving forward.

Prayer:

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for creating me with a divine purpose. I pray for the strength to consciously choose my thoughts so only those thoughts that support the passion You’ve put within me will manifest around me.

In Jesus’ Name I pray,
