How do I know I'm living my purpose?

How do I know I'm living my purpose?

“How do I know I’m living my purpose?”

I can’t tell you how many times I get that question from the young women I mentor day to day. And it’s a completely valid question, because as young millennials it’s easy to get caught up in what our mentors tell us we should and shouldn’t be doing.

It’s easy to base our idea of success off of what our boss says we’re capable of, or what our friends and family members say would be good for us.

But really, you can’t base your purpose – your reason for being on this earth – off anyone else but the person who put you on this earth.

And that’s our heavenly Father.

And God says He’s already equipped you with everything you need to fulfill your purpose.

Yeah, maybe you need to develop additional educational requirements or refine certain skills or get certifications to make it happen.

But you’ve got everything inside you RIGHT NOW to begin the journey.

So what I’ve found is that many of the young women I know already know exactly what their purpose is.

They just haven’t yet given themselves permission to acknowledge it.

Here’s a great article from MindBodySoul.com that gives you a set of questions for examining whether or not you’re living your purpose. You can find the original article here.
