Do you want to use Placeit to create mockups for your Christian t- shirt business collection? In this video, I’m going to show you how to use Placeit to create mockups for your Christian t- shirt business.
Hey it’s your girl Stephanie Rodnez, Founder and CEO of Godlywoodgirl and creator of the Godlywoodgirl School of Business and I am super excited to bring you today’s Christian t- shirt business video that teaches you how to use Placeit to create mockups for your Christian t- shirt business collection. If you want to know how I create these amazingly awesome t- shirt mockups just by using Placeit, grab your pen and paper, get ready and let’s get started.
Here we are in Placeit. We are currently on my computer and I’m going to take you through Placeit. This is Placeit.net and this is where you can create mockups for your Christian t- shirt business. You can use Placeit in two different ways. You can both create your mockup and download it for $8 or you can purchase Placeit’s monthly membership subscription which is $29. This will allow you to use unlimited mockup. You can use it for Facebook ad and things like that.
This is the website and there are lots of different things that you can do on here. For the sake of time, I’m only going to introduce you to the usefulness. I just want to show you all the different mockups that you can do. There are t- shirt mockups, iPhone mockups, iPhone X mockups, hoodie mockups, mug mockups, apparel, video mockups, flyer, iMac, POD shop, app store, android, hats, tote bag, onesies, magazine, pc mockups, leggings, sport jersey, baseball tee, banner,, t- shirt Facebook ads, poster mockups, app videos, business card mockups, brochures, pillow, packaging, phone case mockups and a whole lot more.
There’s just so much more that you can choose from I’m just going to click mockups and go back to t- shirt mockups for that’s what we are here for. When you are making a t- shirt mockup, yo want to design it 750 x 1200px. I recommend PNG as it is higher quality, just make sure it is a transparent background. This means that your designer didn’t choose a solid black or white background. You want just the design.
What I will do is to click upload your design here and you can see how you can choose the t- shirt color that you want the design to be on. I will click upload your design and go to my t- shirt image. Now, what it will do is to show me my shirts. I’m just going to make it a little bit smaller. Then, it is going to show me all these mockups with my design on it. You just have to choose the one that you actually like.
I love this folded one right here. If you are going to use one with a person in it, that is actually a great idea if it is your target demographic. Personally, I like my natural hair girls so somebody just like her. See how great she looks in this one. Here’s another amazing one.
These are all images that I can choose from. You can just keep going till you see a mockup that you truly like. When you find one, you can go ahead and download it for $8 or you can go ahead and sign up for the subscription to get unlimited downloads.
Let me go back to the front page. Let’s say that I really like this flat mockup design, what you will do is to just click the image. Over here on this side, you can go ahead and change the color of the shirt to let’s say pink and you can also change the background. So if I want it to pop out in the news feed, I will make the background yellow.
This is an image that I think can stand out in the newsfeed. When I’m ready, all I need to do is to click download. Then, I’m going to either choose the $29 a month to get unlimited mockups which is totally worth it if you will be doing this a lot or I can purchase it for $8 and I will upload it to my website.
That is how you use Placeit. It is very simple and very easy. If we go to t- shirt mockup videos, if this is a video that you love, that really reaches your client demographics, you can click that video and put your design on it. I will click upload image, it should be 1000 x 400 but just for the sake of time, I’m going to avoid that. You can add an audio track if you want to. You can also change the garment color if you want to as well. How cool is that?!
If I click the preview full video, look at this. This is a brand new video that I can use to promote my shirt. Isn’t it amazing? Down here, you can add a slide to create additional slides. You can have it intro to each other or an outro to each other. You can have an entire fashion haul video just from using Placeit. It is incredible. So, if you want your video, you can go ahead and download this for $29 as a one-time payment, or if you already have the $29 monthly subscription, you can download as many as you want.
The next thing that I want to show you for your t shirt business is the t- shirt Facebook ad. Facebook has its own rules regarding the texts you put on your image. Placeit created all these awesome ad templates that we can use. They are already approved by Facebook as they meet the requirements. She being my target demographic, I will totally use her. You would have to look through to decide the one you actually like. This one is super cool too.
Let me go back up to this one. I will upload my image and resize it a little bit. I suppose you can turn the texts off. See how great that looks. If you do want to have the text, you can choose the font you like. I choose Lato and I will change the color to pink. Same thing here, I will change the color to yellow, and then I will change the badge to a regular white. Let’s say I want it to look like this, you can customize all of this. Then I will just go ahead and download it. You can download it for a one-time payment of $8 or unlimited subscription.
That is how you use Placeit. I hope your mind is running with all the things that you can do for your t- shirt business using this website. If you’re using Shopify, Printful, Teespring or things like that, they give you mockups that you can use. This is for when you just want to get some additional images, have people in it to create a fashion show with your images. That is what these are for. Use this as a way to complement what you’re already doing on your print-on-demand website. Let’s get out of my computer and get back on the screen.
