Hey hun, it’s your girl Stephanie Rodnez; Founder and CEO of Godlywoodgirl and creator of the Godlywoodgirl School of Business. I welcome you to part two of our 4-part e-book series where I’m going to teach you all the little tips and tricks about writing, publishing, and marketing your e-book. In this video, I’m going to teach you how to market your e-book and I’m so excited to get these tricks over to you. Step 1: Set Up Your Sales Funnel
The first step to marketing your e-book is to set up your sales funnel. What’s a sales funnel Stephanie? Comment below if you have never heard of a sales funnel before. A sales funnel is an online buying process that converts a lead; somebody interested in your business, into a customer; somebody who gives you money for the product that you provide in your business. So, a sales funnel is an automated process. It is how people make what is called “sleep coin” or a “passive income”. It’s how I make money here at Godlywoodgirl.
A sales funnel is super simple when you think about it. You have the lead magnet that you give away for free, and then you have your tripwire offer which is a low-cost offer that you give to somebody at $7 or $27. And then, you have the premium offer that you can make a profit out of. So, you have all these three steps in your funnel. The reason why you would have to have those three steps is that if you are only selling a $7 e-book, it is going to take you a long time to make a big profit in your businesses.
Think about this, I know somebody who I outsell. She is another social media influencer and we do converse all the time laughing over this. I outsell her every single day but she makes more money every single day. Why? I sell $7 e-books and she sells $8,000 funnels. It will take me a very long time to be able to sell enough products to match her $8,000. This is why you need to have a sales funnel in place. It allows you to not only make just that $7 sale but also offer another product behind it which is going to increase your average card value.
In effect, set up your sales funnel before you start marketing your e-book. If you are driving money, doing paid ads to be able to market a $7 e-book, you lose money on your campaign as soon as your ad costs more than $7. However, if your funnel on the average makes you $200, then you do a great job if you spend $7 to make $200.

Step 2: Create L.U.S.H.
Once you have your sales funnel in place, the next step is to create L.U.S.H. social media content to drive traffic to your sales funnel. L.U.S.H. stands for your content being; likable, understandable, sharable and hyper-excitable, and that people want to take the next step with your business. That is, get your free review from your sales funnel.
L.U.S.H.'s contents are all about understanding what kind of content your followers want from you that gives them value and presells them to want to go and get your e-book. Step 3: Follow Up with Quality Email Campaign
Finally, step number three is to follow up with your new email subscribers with amazing valuable emails that promote your book. Did you know that on average, it takes somebody about 9-12 times to see the same message before they even register the message? 9-12 times!
A lot of us entrepreneurs think that: “oh we just need to do this launch” and then people see it one time and they don’t buy it. Sis, they only saw it one time. They have been exposed to 15,000 other marketing messages today. You are going to have to repeatedly show them that message for them to register what it is and why they need it.
This is why you need to follow up on your email subscribers with a nice, quality email campaign that will teach them the value that they will get by reading your book. So, these are the three steps to marketing an e-book, make sure that you;
- Set up your sales funnel
- Create your L.U.S.H. social media content to drive traffic into your funnel
- Follow up with your email subscribers with a quality online responder, a quality email campaign that will sell your book.
